The George H. Pierson

 

December 21, 1883

Sch. George H. Pierson sailed for Georges November 8th and was exposed to the November gales of the 12th, 13th, and 14th.
She had on board twelve men, as follows:

Patrick O'Neal, master, leaves widow and three children
John Keough, widow and one child
John Keough, another of the same name as given above
William Brennan
John Connors
Abner Larrabee
William Dirscoll
Michael Ready
one man, name unknown

The Pierson was built at Essex in 1867, 64.70 tons, owned by Messrs. Cunningham & Thompson; insured in the Gloucester Mutual Fishing Insurance office for $2960 on vessel and $500 on outfits.
