Man Drowned From Rhodora
Word has been received here of the death by
drowning at Liverpool, N. S., last evening, of Tony Perry, a member of
the crew of the local schooner Rhodora.
The telegram stated that Perry
while trying to board his vessel at the dock slipped and fell into the harbor and although
every effort was made to save him the results were futile. The Rhodora was
one of a fleet of several American boats harboring at Liverpool for shelter from a heavy
blow.
Perry's body had not been
recovered this morning. He leaves a wife and family at Provincetown. |
